Ponderosa Ranch Resort has a rental cottage that provides accommodation up to ten people, located on the Raisin River in Eastern Ontario. The same river that helped colonize Williamstown also known for the oldest county fair fast approaching its 200 year anniversary .
The Raisin River is also famous for the great Raisin River canoe race during the spring thaw, it runs from St-Andrews to Williamstown.

We are situated at the mouth of the Raisin River joining lake St- Francis renounwned for the great fishing and duck hunting , every year the renegade bass fishing tournament come to the area and draws participants from all areas . The fishing in the lake St-Francis is so famous even a book  written about it . We also have the delicious Lancaster perch rolls that you can try out at some of the eateries.

Having your boat docked at the cottage, you have no need to launch your boat every morning giving you a quick start to your favourite fishing spot.

Lancaster village and its surrounding area is rich in Scottish heritage , just a short drive from the world famous Maxville highland games, people from many parts of the  world come to attend this special event.

We are 15 minutes from Cornwall  Ontario  a city with many points of interest and special event such as the Kinsmen hot air balloon festival drawing huge crowds with great entertainers which is one of many special events held in Cornwall. You can visit the Seaway Valley tourism to view all there upcoming event and participate during  your lodging at the cottage.
This is not just a cottage its the luxury of being  home away from home in a great private location  and fully equipped.
